About the Position

As the Fresh Produce Manager for Open Food, you will be responsible for ensuring the operations of various departments including Delicatessen, Manual Fish, Store Kitchen, Bakery, and Café. The role includes leading and developing the departments both strategically and operationally. You will have profit responsibility for all departments within your area and also ensure that the entire store offers a fresh and exciting assortment.

You have a significant responsibility for ensuring that customers experience a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the store and that the store remains at the forefront. An important part of the job is to work with the right communication on end caps, manage price perception, and create a cohesive and well-organized structure in the store, ensuring that the store maintains the highest quality every day. You will have skilled sales leaders reporting directly to you. You will be part of the store's management team.

Selection of Responsibilities Included in the Position

Responsibility for the sales of the departments
Responsibility for communication on end caps and refrigerated displays, price perception, and food inspiration in the departments
Optimization of department operations with responsibility for ensuring that routines are followed and developed effectively
Lead, develop, and inspire staff within the department
Budget work and follow-up of key figures
Staffing and planning for the departments

Qualifications

Extensive experience in a leadership position within the grocery trade
Experience, knowledge, and education in store operations
Business management training or similar
Basic knowledge of LEAN (Leading Store Operations) is an advantage
Knowledge of Min Butik and AOB is an advantage

You are driven by sales and creating good profitability. Through a coaching approach and your operational work style, you motivate your employees to want to develop the business towards set goals.

You are driven to keep the store fresh every day with well-stocked end caps, sales pressure, and clear communication. You achieve this through your ability to structure, prioritize, delegate, and analyze. You have social competence and are attentive to customer needs, enjoying being visible and active in the store.
